| ... And How to Live By
Them
"Always bear in mind that
your own resolution to succeed is more important
than any other."
Abraham
Lincoln
Before I can ask anyone else to
sacrifice for this cause, or to work for it, or to
belive in it, I have to do all those thinks,
myself. And I am.
"Only a virtuous people are
capable of freedom. As nations become more corrupt
and vicious, they have more need of
masters."
Benjamin
Franklin
The key to
Freedom in America is the American People.
Each Election they step up and make selections for
political leaders that are based on the good of
all of us. It's the miracle of Freedom that
makes me realize it's all worth
it. | | |
Neighbors &
Friends,
In the days before political races went 24/7
we used to refer to the Fall Campaign as the time
when voters made up their minds and re-set the
course of their government. Even today, as
fall begins the largest group of voters who are
still undecided start to become engaged in the
electoral process. As these voters come to
the table the choice of your next Representative
in Congress will be made.
So it's more important than ever for me to
let people know where I stand. I need to
make the argument that I am their best choice
because of who I am and what I stand for.
And I need your help, more than ever, to get that
message out.
If you've been following these newsletters
for the last 25 weeks you'll know the bullet
points of my candidacy:
- I have Shared Experiences with Everyone in
the District that my opponent does not.
That makes me the better
natural representative of your interests.
- I have a bias towards smaller government,
that costs less, and that should live within its
means. That makes me the better representative
of your interests.
- I want smaller government because I want to
cut taxes to get the Feds out of Your
pockets. Let's also get them out of
the borrowing business so the money can be used
for Capital Formation to Liberate the Economy.
That makes me the better representative of your
interests.
- I want to harness that burgeoning Productive
Economy to cut our energy costs now and then to
cut our energy dependency going
forward. That makes me the better
representative of your interests.
There is lots more, of course, and if you want
to drill down into what I've been saying please
look at the archive of these weekly Newsletters:

the word out...
If you believe that Mark Zaccaria should vote
your seat for you in congress next session, then
please forward this Newsletter to your own Friends
& Neighbors in Warwick, or Cranston, or
Westerly, or Coventry. We can only improve
things if we work together.

| What Do We Really Belive
In? |
|
Gut Check
Time.
One of the luxuries of being American is
having the chance to ignore some of the
distasteful things that go on around us. Our
strength and our culture allow us to make
believe we live in a perfect world. It's
really a comfort to many of us that we don't
really have to think about global turmoil if we
don't want to.
The problem is we do not live in a perfect
world. We have to deal with those
imperfections and we sometimes have to fight
them. Don't fool yourself. The
upcoming election is serious business.
Unless you Think First and Vote Second we could
all be in trouble. We all have to Commit, and
then we all have to live that commitment.
It's OK, though. We will be more
satisfied when we do. We will feel better
about ourselves and our government when we take
matters into our own hands, rather than just
letting government happen. Here's an extreme
example, but it's one we should all be able to
relate to: Click

Did Dan Yorke
Endorse
Mark Z 4 RI ?
You might have missed Mark's last appearance
on the Radio. He spent an hour in-studio
with Dan Yorke, WPRO's afternoon Talk
Meister. There are no sound bites here, just
a series of open and forthright responses to the
questions that came up as Dan brought them
up. Listen to the performance without
commercial interruption and without last month's
traffic reports: Click

So far the MZD2 Campaign has been able to put
together a winning message, top notch collateral like
palm cards and signs, and a dedicated staff that sits at
the center of growing volunteer support. Now it's
time to use all those assets. We have just over 40
days and 40 nights to broadcast that message so that the
undecided voters hear about their options.
Then we have to sweat it out on Election Night to
find out what all this work has produced.
Work with us in the home stretch. Sweat with
us on the evening of November 4th.
Celebrate a job well done with us and, hopefully,
an opportunity to do even more starting November
5th.
Sincerely,
Mark Zaccaria Mark
